COF & the Founder

Christian Overcomers Fellowship (COF) was founded by Jobert Jeba Selvan, who
was born in April 29th 1975 as the third child of six children to Christian parents in the
Kanya Kumari district of Tamil Nadu, India. His father was a pastor and my mother
was assisting his father in the ministry. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior when
he was thirteen. He completed his Master of Arts in English Literature with Madurai
Kamaraj University and Master of Divinity (M Div.) with Asian Institute of Theology
at Bangalore, accredited with Asian Theological Association. He was married with
Beula Harlin and, has two sons Joewin and Haroldin.

Serving the downtrodden and deprived is a childhood vision of the founder; as a child
he could not achieve it. When he became a young man, he initiated a humanitarian
organization Christian Overcomers Fellowship (COF) in the year 1998 with the purpose
of serving humanity . Beginning with doing small activities among the needy; COF
gradually has been developed into an established organization.

From the year 2008, COF stepped into another new level when it joined hands with
LET’S SHARE and Nora Angst. Together with the partners COF is doing sustainable
development activities in urban and rural areas of India.
